Informatický večer: Decoding the chemical universe of plants with machine learning

Yet for most plant species we still do not know how these molecules are biosynthesized or which genes and enzymes are responsible. In this talk, Tomáš Pluskal from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS will explain how his research group uses machine learning and modern omics technologies to connect plant genes, identified through RNA sequencing, with the metabolites they produce, detected by mass spectrometry.
