The New Executive Skill: Thinking and Communicating with AI | Agustín Marín | TEDxUTA
Agustin outlines three stages of AI adoption: Experimentation (discovering the tool), Augmentation (increasing productivity), and Transformation (using AI as a strategic thinking partner to redesign processes). Ultimately, he posits that AI will not replace leaders, but rather reveal how they think, concluding that in a world flooded with automated answers, the unique human ability to provide direction and assume responsibility is the ultimate advantage. Agustín Rosa Marín is a communication strategist and researcher exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming the way humans think, learn, and lead. With a PhD in Social Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, he has spent more than 20 years studying how communication influences decision-making, leadership, and collective intelligence. He has worked with global organizations including BBVA, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and leading universities across Europe and Latin America. Today, Agustín focuses on how AI can amplify human thinking — helping leaders communicate complex ideas, make better decisions, and navigate an increasingly intelligent world. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
